Excellent Pillars International School is faith based and runs the Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E) curriculum in addition to the Federal and State curricula. The A.C.E curriculum is an individualized, God centered, controlled motivated learning in Mathematics, English, Word-building, Science, Social-Studies, Literature and Creative Writing, Animal Science and Bible Reading. The ACE also grooms pupils/students who want to write international examinations such as Graduate Matriculation Aptitude Test (GMAT), Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT), etc. The curriculum emphasizes school-home cooperation for effective character training of children.
Excellent Pillars International School (EPIS) is registered with the Delta State Ministry of Education as well as the Corporate Affairs Commission, Abuja. The school comprises the Secondary, Primary, Nursery and Pre-Nursery sections. The state government gave full approval for the school to commence on 16th May, 2006, but EPIS became operationally effective on the 20th December, 2008.
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
The aims and objectives of the school include the following:
1. To inculcate in the pupils and students permanent literacy and the ability to communicate effectively both in reading and writing, even at a very early age.
2. To lay a sound foundation for scientific and reflective thinking through Information and Computer Technology (ICT) driven teaching, learning and research.
